Hatha Yoga is breath paired with movement and poses vary from seated to standing. Yin yoga postures gently stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissue that forms our joints by relaxing the muscles. Come relax and enjoy! Suitable for beginners.
Julie has been practicing yoga for 20 years as it is one of her passions. She has experience in helping others through the use of Hatha Yoga therapy. Her emphasis on the importance of the breath, alignment and core strength is shown in her practice. Listening to one’s body and honoring it through yoga practice at your own pace is key to yoga = union of the mind, body and spirit. Julie also has taken an exploration of the iliopsoas muscle complex class from Liz Koch whom specializes in the psoas muscle, which is one of the largest muscles in the body. Julie is a registered member of Yoga Alliance and also explores the ongoing education they offer through their organization on a yearly basis. She has taught children’s classes and private classes catering to specific needs in individuals.
