You are surprised at how you feel: overwhelmed, anxious, angry, alone, devastated. You find yourself consumed with the “what ifs” and guilt. Scary thoughts come up and you feel a deep loss that is difficult to put to words. You wonder: Will you ever feel normal again? And what will normal even look like?
My name is Ashley Halverson, and I believe all reproductive choices and transitions deserve care and support without judgement. My passion is for supporting reproductive mental health. I work with pregnant/postpartum parents as a psychotherapist and as a hospital social worker. I support individuals who have experienced NICU admissions, loss, and reproductive trauma. I am also trained as a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) therapist through Postpartum Support International. Asking for help in hard; I’m so glad you are here.
