Dr. Hope Reyes PT, DPT is a licensed Doctor of Physical therapy and founder of Moving Munchkins. She is a pediatric physical therapist and services patients birth-18 years of age. Dr. Hope completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) with a major in physiology and minor in chemistry. She then went to obtain her doctorate in physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego, CA graduating with high honors. It is her extensive background in dance and love for everything Disney that gives her the ability to make movement fun for all her patients and families that she services.

Dr. Hope provides home-based, virtual physical therapy, and clinic physical services for babies and children birth-18 years of age. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients and families while providing a holistic approach to meet the families goals for their children. She has extensive training in infant handling skills (neurodevelopmental treatment), myofascial release techniques, and oral-motor feeding therapy to improve infant motor development and feeding skills. Dr. Hope enjoys collaborating with other providers to give her patients and families the most comprehensive care possible.

Dr. Hope is most passionate about educating parents so they feel confident to promote their child’s physical strength and independence in movement. This passion led her to create Moving Munchkins. In addition to in-person therapy services, Dr. Hope created online courses for parents to understand and feel confident about their baby’s movement and development.

When Dr. Hope is not working, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband, Eron, fur-child, Lily, and daughter Brielle.
